§1 General
Anyone who registers for one of the events organized by Markus Lehnert Coaching LLC (hereinafter also referred to as “Organizer” or “Markus Lehnert” - abbreviated MLC -) has read the general terms and conditions and agrees to their validity and application.

These terms and conditions apply to all lectures, courses, seminars, workshops, tutorials, retreats, diploma training series and similar events (hereinafter referred to as “events”) by MLC, including those that are carried out by means of electronic data transmission.

§2 Participation requirements
All persons who meet the entry requirements listed on the website are eligible to participate in the events. These can be changed by the organizer. Under no circumstances will this result in claims for registered participants.

§3 Registration for events
Announcements of events are non-binding.

Registration is a contract offer and is made orally, online via the Internet, e-mail or social media platforms. Persons who register for MLC events must provide all information necessary to process the contract. The event contract is concluded with a declaration of acceptance from Markus Lehnert (confirmation of registration).

With the conclusion of the event contract, contractual rights and obligations are established between MLC and the person registering.

§4 Rejection of participants
The organizer is entitled to reject event participants before the start of the event without giving reasons. In this case, any event fees already paid will be refunded in full.

Participants who disrupt or have a negative impact on the course of the event can be excluded by the event manager. These include in particular conduct contrary to community, serious misconduct, violations of honor of all kinds, insults and discrimination against event organizers or participants, misuse of events for party political or ideological purposes or for agitation of all kinds, and violations of the applicable house rules. MLC's claim for compensation is not affected by such termination or exclusion. Reimbursement of additional costs is excluded.

§5 Payment of event fees
The event contract obliges — regardless of actual participation — to pay the stated fee and special costs, such as material costs, etc.

If only a deposit or an installment payment was made when booking, the remaining amount must be paid in full by bank transfer no later than 2 weeks before the start of the event. The date of receipt of money in MLC's account is decisive.

Payment in installments is generally only possible if this is agreed separately with MLC. If there is a delay of two consecutive installments or a total amount equal to two installments, the entire remaining amount is due immediately.

On request, each participant will receive an invoice showing value added tax.

§6 Repeating an event
All events can be repeated upon request at 50% of the event fees applicable at the time of repetition. However, there is neither a legal claim to a replay of the event nor a place to participate. Participation is only possible if the maximum number of participants has not yet been reached by first-time participants and has been approved by the organizer. If you repeat the event at a reduced cost, the price does not include any event documents.

§7 Cancellation
Participants can withdraw from the event up to 4 weeks before the start of the booked events or series of events without giving any information and regardless of reasons. However, payments made are not refundable, but can be credited towards another event within one year of registration.

If a cancellation is made later than 4 weeks before the start of the event, the full event fee is generally due without notice.

Withdrawal must always be made in writing.

Absence from an event or early termination of an event does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid.

Any legal right of withdrawal (e.g. in the case of distance selling transactions) remains unaffected.

§8 Rebookings
Up to 4 weeks before the start of the event, rebookings between offered events can be carried out within one year of registration. Rebookings require approval from the organizer. Transfers are charged at a flat rate of €20 and can only be made once. Special costs will be charged separately. Should the target event be more expensive than the original event, the difference in price must be paid in full by the participant without notice.

§9 Substitute participants
If the registered participant is unable to attend the booked event, it is possible to nominate a replacement participant free of charge, provided that the replacement participant meets the respective requirements for participation in the event. In any case, the replacement participant must report to MLC in writing before the start of the event.

The organizer is entitled to reject substitute participants without giving reasons.

§10 Organizational changes
There is no claim that an event is carried out by specific course instructors. This applies even if the course was announced with the name of the course instructors.

Markus Lehnert can change the location and time of the event for important reasons. The important reasons include in particular an insufficient number of participants, illness or urgent personal family reasons on the part of the event manager.

An organizational change can be made in writing, by telephone, email, messenger services (e.g. WhatsApp, Telegram or the like), SMS or social media platforms. In this case, paid event fees will be refunded upon request. Further claims are excluded.

§11 Withdrawal and termination by MLC
A minimum number of participants is required to organize an event for the stated fee. If this minimum number is not reached, MLC can withdraw from the contract. Fees paid in will be refunded upon request. There are no further claims from the persons taking part in the event.

If MLC wants to hold an event despite falling below the minimum number of participants, the duration of the event may be reduced in agreement with the people participating in the event for the same fee or an additional fee must be paid.

MLC may also withdraw from or terminate the contract if an event cannot take place in whole or in part for reasons beyond MLC's control or for reasons of force majeure. In particular, this includes mobilization, war, turmoil, pandemics or similar events for which the organizer is not responsible, e.g. strikes or lockouts. Payments made are not refundable in this case, but can be credited for another event within one year of registration.

§12 Accommodation, food and travel
The participant is responsible for booking food and accommodation (s) at the venue in good time, as well as for arrival and departure. The prices for food and accommodation as well as all costs associated with participation in the event must be paid separately by the participant. Compensation claims cannot be made in the event of cancellation or cancellation of the event through no fault of its own.

§13 Event content
The nature and scope of the services provided by MLC are set out in the respective detailed descriptions on the website. The organizer is free to change announced event content and schedule. In particular, this includes omitting topics or adding new content.

§14 Working materials and copyright protection
The content and all materials and documents used in connection with the event and in the event or provided directly or indirectly, such as scripts, drawings, diagrams, samples, documents, videos, images and sound sequences — even if embodied on data carriers or other storage media — are subject to the copyright of the organizer or other rights holder and are protected by copyright.

All materials and documents are provided exclusively for private use. Presentation, reproduction, publication and transfer of materials and documents to third parties for payment or free of charge (including extracts — based on word or content) is prohibited. The participant undertakes to fully respect and maintain the confidentiality of the materials and documents and to refrain from infringements. In the event of an infringement, claims for damages and further claims may be made on other legal grounds.

§15 Services provided by the organizer
During event hours, the organizer will provide appropriate premises, presentation technology in physical or electronic form and any required work materials. The organization of the event corresponds to the respective event description on the website. The organizer is free to organise the event. If necessary, documents mentioned in the event description will be handed over to the participants.

In the case of an individual seminar, each event participant receives a personal confirmation of participation after successful completion of the event. The prerequisite is punctual and complete attendance during the event, good cooperation on all days of the event, proof of the necessary professional and personal suitability, and other conditions described on the website. The assessment of these requirements is solely at the discretion of the organizer.

§16 Liability/Disclaimer
Markus Lehnert excludes all liability claims with the exception of liability claims resulting from damage caused by gross negligence or intent. Furthermore, this exclusion does not apply if the organizer culpably breaches obligations that make up the essence of the contract (cardinal obligations).

§17 Personal responsibility
Any personal use of the teaching material, tools and working methods taught during the events is carried out exclusively on personal responsibility.

The events aim to educate participants about natural processes and are considered general information for mind-expanding opportunities and new technologies. All events can initiate processes that require good psychological resilience and a high level of personal responsibility. MLC assumes no liability for any difficulties that arise.

Participation in events is in any case the sole responsibility of the event participant.

§18 Recordings
Video and audio recordings of the event may only be made with written permission from the organizer. Private photographs are allowed as long as they do not interfere with the course of the event. The publication of photos, video or audio recordings requires written permission from the organizer.

During the event, photo, video or audio recordings can be made by the organizer. By participating in the event, the participant grants permission for private and commercial use of these recordings and transfers the right to image and sound to the organizer. By participating in the event, the participant irrevocably agrees to the unrestricted, temporally and spatially unlimited publication and distribution of the photos, video and audio recordings made, including for advertising purposes of any kind, through data carriers and other storage media.

The event participant has the right to object to this approval in advance or during the event. A subsequent objection is not possible.

A claim for commission or other payments is generally excluded, unless otherwise agreed in advance. This agreement must be made in writing.

§19 Data protection
MLC uses automated processing methods to process personal data. By submitting an application, the donor agrees to the storage of his data in MLC's IT system. The data is kept strictly confidential and is not passed on to third parties.

Information on the processing of personal data can be found in the privacy policy. The privacy policy can be found on the website at any time.

Markus Lehnert is subject to the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR).

§20 Final provisions
The right to set off against claims made by is excluded, unless the counterclaim has been established in court or recognized by the organizer.

Claims against Markus Lehnert are not transferable.

Should individual provisions of these general terms and conditions be invalid or ineffective or become ineffective in whole or in part, there is agreement between the participant and MLC that this provision should be replaced by one which is effective and which comes as close as possible in terms of content to the ineffective provision. The remaining provisions remain unaffected by the invalidity of a provision of these general terms and conditions. Agreements negotiated differently are only valid if they have been agreed in writing. This also applies to an agreement that includes a waiver of written form.

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply to all events. The place of jurisdiction is Frankfurt am Main. However, consumers are subject to the mandatory consumer protection standards of the state of the European Union in which the consumer has his habitual residence.
